Verdict
The RX 6700 XT and RTX 2080 Ti land at nearly identical prices — within 2% of each other — so your decision should come down to features, ecosystem fit, and availability rather than budget.
As an NVIDIA card, the RTX 2080 Ti gives you access to DLSS 4 super-resolution and Frame Generation, which can meaningfully lift frame rates in supported titles. The RX 6700 XT counters with FSR 4, which is open-source and works across a wider range of games — including some that don't support DLSS. Which ecosystem matters more depends on the games in your library.
