How we track GPU prices
Where prices come from
We track one representative retail listing per GPU model — currently 12 cards across NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel. New prices come from Amazon listings we check once a day. Used prices come from live eBay listings via eBay's official Browse API, filtered to in-stock items and refreshed on the same daily cycle; a used price is dropped from the site automatically if we haven't been able to confirm it within 72 hours.
Tracking one listing per model keeps the history honest: a price move on our charts means that listing actually moved, not that a different board partner took over the cheapest slot. The trade-off is that another variant may be cheaper on any given day — we say so wherever prices appear.
How often everything updates
Prices are checked once a day and every page on the site is rebuilt from the fresh data. Each page shows the date its prices were last confirmed (this page's data: June 11, 2026). Daily closing prices are appended to a permanent history that powers the per-card charts, the all-time low and high markers, and the MSRP comparisons.
What the numbers mean
- Street price — what the tracked listing actually charges today, not the manufacturer's suggested price.
- MSRP delta — how far today's street price sits above or below the launch MSRP of the exact variant we track.
- Used (eBay) — the cheapest in-stock used listing we could confirm in the last 72 hours. Used prices vary by condition and seller; treat ours as a starting point, not a guarantee.
How we make money
Outbound Amazon and eBay links are affiliate links: if you buy through them we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate revenue never affects which cards we track, the prices we show, or how cards rank — every ranking on this site is computed from the price data itself. We run no display ads.
Corrections
Automated validation gates every data update, but mistakes can still slip through. If a price or spec looks wrong, tell us on X/Twitter and we'll correct the data — fixes land with the next daily rebuild.
