Verdict
With the Radeon RX 7900 XTX running 67% above the RX 6600 — a $1,225.99 premium — the two cards sit in meaningfully different price brackets. The RX 6600 wins on value unless the extra performance matters for your workload.
The Radeon RX 7900 XTX's 24 GB of VRAM is a 16 GB advantage over the RX 6600. At 4K or in heavily modded games that extra buffer matters — and it provides headroom as future titles push VRAM requirements higher.
Unless you specifically need what the Radeon RX 7900 XTX offers, the RX 6600 is the stronger value at this price gap.
