Verdict
At $799.00, the RX 6700 XT costs about 18% less than the $969.00 RTX 4070 Super. That $170.00 saving is real money, but not so wide that the pricier card is out of reach.
As an NVIDIA card, the RTX 4070 Super gives you access to DLSS 4 super-resolution and Frame Generation, which can meaningfully lift frame rates in supported titles. The RX 6700 XT counters with FSR 4, which is open-source and works across a wider range of games — including some that don't support DLSS. Which ecosystem matters more depends on the games in your library.
